Keri Moss, joint winner of Masterchef 2012, will open her first restaurant, The Corner Restaurant and Champagne Bar on Tuesday 19 March – at Selfridges on London’s Oxford Street.
The restaurant will offer a frequently changing menu with the emphasis on seasonal cooking using the very best British ingredients, and will be true to Keri’s style, honed over 25 years in professional kitchens.
Situated in the corner of the Womenswear Designer Galleries on the second floor and set in a beautifully designed, art deco inspired room, it affords diners views out across iconic Oxford Street. Inside, however, the focus is on relaxed luxury and Modern International food.
Signature dishes
Customers to The Corner Restaurant and Champagne bar will be treated to some of Keri’s signature dishes inspired by her time on the Masterchef programme. Keri’s specialities include Mackerel Tartare crisp poached quails eggs, apple, pancetta wafers. The sublime Goats Cheese Parfait, blackberry puree, pear salad and candied quinoa will form part of her delicious dessert menu.
Seasonal cocktails…and cakes
A decadent L-shaped marble bar will also offer a changing, seasonal cocktail menu, champagne and an extensive wine list and will be the perfect environment to sit and enjoy a glass of champagne. A range of bar food, which includes salt cod quails eggs, truffle chips, a British cheese board will be available for customers wishing to stop for a light bite.
A traditional ‘tea and cake’ menu will also be offered to customers who fancy something sweet. Weekly changing, seasonal cakes will include Black Cherry and Almond Cake, White Chocolate and passion fruit ripple or Blood Orange and Polenta Cake.

“It’s been such a whirlwind since I finished Masterchef, so it has been great to finally focus my time and energy into my first restaurant. My dishes are influenced from all around the world but in keeping with my style. I will be including dishes inspired by my time on Masterchef, so I look forward to customers being able to sample these.”
