The Considerate Hoteliers (CH), the UK’s longest established association of responsible hoteliers with a current membership of over 240 hotels has just entered into a new era starting with the launch of a brand new website.
This includes a fresh, smart new logo and tagline “Caring for You & Your World”, and it also marks the start to a whole new strategy.
As already announced at the Considerate Hotel of the Year 2012 Awards Ceremony, CH is now reaching out to Hotels in Europe and beyond in order to widen its network and for its members to exchange best practices, case studies and relevant knowledge on an international basis. Clear evidence of this new intent is the inclusion of the Considerate International Hotel of the Year category in this year’s awards programme.
CH’s main focus is to encourage and assist hoteliers to adopt economically, socially and environmentally sustainable policies and practices. These should enhance the viability of the hotels businesses, the environment and the quality of the experience to their guests, staff and visitors. In order to achieve this objective CH will now be offering its members a series of enhanced services some of which they can access via the ‘Members Only’ Knowledge Hub, an area rich with information on sustainability issues only relevant to the hotel sector.
Additionally CH has expanded its Suppliers Directory, which is a selection of carefully screened, pre-qualified Considerate Suppliers in order for hotel members to improve the efficiency and quality of their service providers by switching to more sustainable procurement systems.
