The Travelodge Hotel in Manchester Street, Oldham has been acquired by operator Riddle Hotels from Piccadilly Hotels for a price understood to be in excess of £1.5 million.
The 102-bedroom site was one of a group of Travelodge sites put up for sale in late 2012, and the sale secures the continued operation of the hotel.
Riddle Hotels has bought the hotel as a going concern and intends to run it independently: the Travelodge branding will be removed in due course.
