People 1st is joining forces with PACE (the Professional Association for Catering Educators) to deliver a joint programme at this year’s annual learning and development forum and conference.
The new style conference will see the programme for the event extended to cover an additional half day and People 1st will work with PACE to provide an innovative programme for both employers and educators.
With a strong focus on the future of training and quality apprenticeships, and interactive and practical guidance on addressing issues around work readiness, funding and recruitment the programme is designed to appeal to both employers and providers from a wide range of industries.
Annette Allmark, head of accreditation at People 1st, said that the decision to join with PACE and extend the programme to attract both employers and providers was an obvious choice:

The format for the event will include a series of key note speakers addressing topical issues including apprenticeships, promoting career pathways through centres of excellence, and sustainability issues in colleges and work places.
