Cardigan Games was founded in 2012 by a group of friends living in Oxford. Away from home they soaked up the history and culture … and of course a pint or two!
Whether it was punting along the river, meandering across meadows to kick back in a beer garden, or tucked up in front of an open fire, they loved exploring and learning about the famous pubs and people of Oxford.
They often played cards on these adventures, and this inspired their first game “Pubcrawler: The Pub-themed Card Game”, which takes players on a virtual Pubcrawl through historic Oxford, scoring points by sampling drinks in some of the city’s most iconic pubs.
Of course, you can also check out the pubs in reality…another excellent excuse to visit Oxford!
Players earn bonuses through events like Happy Hours and Quiz Nights, but watch out for dangers like Punting Mishaps or Dodgy Kebabs which could end your night on a bad note!
The game includes 124 colourful cards featuring 40 pubs, a variety of drinks, and quirky action cards. Instructions, an Oxford Pub Map, and Pub Trivia are also included.
Pubcrawler is a unique pub-themed card game for 2 to 6 players aged 18+. It is designed and marketed by Cardigan Games Ltd, is not affiliated with any of the pubs featured, and costs just £9.99 (plus postage).
