Legacy Hotels and Resorts, which operates more than 20 hotels across England and Wales, has taken over the running of the Orchid Hotel and the former Woodcroft Hotel in Bournemouth. It is the first time Legacy, which specialises in running three and four star hotels, has operated in Bournemouth
Both hotels sit in Bournemouth’s exclusive East Cliff, five minutes from the town centre and beaches.
The Legacy Orchid Hotel has 34 bedrooms and is an excellent venue for conferences and celebrations as well as the perfect location for a weekend away or traditional British seaside holiday.
The former Woodcroft Hotel, which will now be renamed the Legacy Inn – Bournemouth, has 57 bedrooms and is ideally situated for guests visiting for business or pleasure.
The two hotels will be managed by Tim Payne who has worked in hospitality in the town for more than 20 years.
CEO Andy Townsend commented:
“We are delighted to have attracted Tim back to Bournemouth to spearhead our presence in the town.
“He is a highly experienced and respected hotelier who has very strong local roots. His appointment will in itself be a great asset to the hotels and Legacy.”
Legacy Hotels and Resorts operates and represents a portfolio of over 20, three and four-star properties ranging in style from stunning country houses to city centre hotels across the UK and Southern Spain.
