Guest Experience drives referred hotel bookings

By James Russell: Guest Experience drives referred hotel bookings

October 30, 2012

Of the 100’s of great hotels in London including all the 5 star options the thermometer of what’s hot and what’s not has to be Tripadvisor.

By allowing guests to review their experience of stay Tripadvisor enables people to look and book hotels based on the recent feedback and rating of aggregated Guest Experience.

Recently opened citizenM London Bankside is currently ranked 21st of 1,085 hotels in London and as a 3 star hotel that is quite some achievement in our opinion.

So just how does this hotel do it..? Well there are three options here on starting your research…

1. Visit Tripadvisor and read the reviews, see what is motivating the guests to review so positively.

2. We are soon launching a series of articles on ‘What Guest Experience means to me and my hotel’ and leading hoteliers will be sharing their experience and views on the subject, watch this space.

3. Michael Levie, COO and architect of the Guest Experience at citizenM explains part of his formula for success on video below.
