The Grand Hotel in Brighton is for sale: owner De Vere is focusing its efforts to pay down debts and fund expansion of its Village-branded resorts.
Although De Vere is currently spending £4m on refurbishing the Grand, the 250-room hotel is sure to attract buyers situated as it is in vibrant Brighton.
The Grand is particularly remembered as the site of an IRA bomb attack back in 1984 that targeted Margaret Thatcher, then prime minister, and members of her cabinet who were staying there during the Conservative party conference.
