The Aurora Hotel Collection, the burgeoning Scottish luxury hotel group whose estate now includes eight luxury venues across Central Scotland, has announced that it is opening a new, purpose built, central office in Larbert. The office, which will be called ‘The Hub’, will house the Executive team and central services, including finance, payroll, reservations and development for the group, and will initially employ around 30 staff.
The Aurora Hotel Collection currently includes Airth Castle Hotel, near Falkirk; Glenbervie & the Coach House, near Larbert; Solsgirth House, by Dollar; the Kenmore Hotel & Lodges, Perthshire; & the newly opened 5-star Cairn Lodge & Hotel in Auchterarder. The Collection will also see the addition of a further 5-star hotel, when the luxury Colessio Hotel opens in the centre of Stirling next year.
More venues in the pipeline
Commenting, Founder & Chief Executive, Steven McLeod said:
“The Aurora Hotel Collection has expanded rapidly over the last few years. We now have eight exquisite properties employing hundreds of people, and there are more venues imminently in the pipeline. Creating this hub is a logical and essential step if we are to continue growing the business and the Falkirk area is the ideal location for this central office.
“It offers convenient and easy access to all the properties but, just as importantly, this office is recognition of the importance of the area to the Aurora Hotel Collection. Airth was my first hotel; it remains our largest property, and is the lynchpin of the group. Exciting times lie ahead as we build Scotland ’s most exciting hotel and leisure group and, along with my team, we are committed to achieving this from our new hub in Larbert.”
The Aurora Hotel Collection recently scooped seven accolades at the prestigious Scottish Hotel of the Year Awards, and the group’s founder received special recognition when he was honoured as the Scottish Hotelier of the Year.
