Cobalt blue, elegant tailoring and head-to-toe prints – do you know what’s about to take the high street by storm? SilkFred, the luxury online fashion boutique, will be popping up for the first time at The Folly and The Anthologist, during the biggest date for the catwalk calendar: London Fashion Week. So if you haven’t managed to find those all-important front row seats, you can still stay totally on trend with clothes and accessories from fashion’s hottest up-and-coming designers.
From 10th to 28th September, SilkFred will transform The Folly and The Anthologist into a haven for the style-conscious, with eye-catching displays, vintage furniture and quirky touches in keeping with the aesthetic of each venue. Beautiful and unique jewellery, clothes, bags and belts will be available to buy from the industry’s most exciting rising stars, and with prices ranging from £30 to £300, plus a series of special discounts, there will be something for everyone.
SilkFred has handpicked an eclectic mix of trend-makers such as Danielle Foster, Chloe Stanyon, Amy Winter and Alan Hayden to showcase their collections, ensuring there is an impressive range of unique, wearable and stylish items on offer.
Jillian MacLean, managing director of Drake & Morgan said:
“We’re excited to be working with SilkFred, introducing emerging and talented fashion designers to our guests during one of the most important months on the fashion calendar. We’ll also be collaborating with some other exciting brands throughout the winter months to provide guests with a variety of pop-up experiences.”
H & C News view: of course, initiatives such as these are not for every venue, but Drake & Morgan should be applauded for this one which – despite the state of the economy – should attract customers and sales. We look forward to learning what will follow fashion in the months ahead…
