Sellar Property Group has announced the international operators who will provide three restaurants and two bars in London’s iconic Shard tower: the 30,000 square foot space includes a triple height atrium with spectacular views across London, and will enjoy a separate entrance as well as express lifts to speed guests up to their destinations.
Aqua Restaurant Group will operate Floors 31 and 33, whilst Rainer Becker and Arjun Waney will operate on Floor 32: all restaurants will be open all day, from breakfast through to late night dinner.
Becker and Waney are the co-founders of Roka Restaurants, and operate an international portfolio of restaurants – including Hong Kong, Dubai and Bangkok. Their restaurant on Floor 32 will include a rotisserie and grill, with bar and live music.
Aqua Restaurant Group was founded by David Yeo and now has over 20 outlets internationally, including Hong Kong and Beijing.
Fitting out is expected to begin soon, with the restaurants and bars opening for business in early 2013.
