Pubs offering a ‘food to go’ or ‘takeaway’ service have, until recently, been rare. No longer. And the latest to offer this service is Ember Inns – which joins Mitchells & Butlers’ brands that already offer a takeaway service, including Toby Carvery, Crown Carveries and Harvester.
Ember Inns and Ember Pub & Dining will now allow guests to enjoy classic pub food in the comfort of their own home – without even having to turn the oven on.
Ember guests can enjoy a selection of classic pub food to go, including sandwiches, gourmet burgers, fish and chips, and steaks.
Ember’s Brand Operations Director, Martin Gosling, says:
“Around 90% of our guests come from within a 3km radius of our pubs and are generally surrounded by suburban housing estates. Our current food menu is priced competitively against many takeaway shops. So, by placing popular dishes on to a specific Ember takeaway menu, we’re creating yet another reason to visit.”
Martin also suggests:
“It’s probably the best place in the world to wait for your takeaway to be prepared. What further excuse do people need to take a walk to their local to buy dinner?”
