This week’s Restaurant of the Week is Kinloch Lodge, Isle of Skye and courtesy of Great British Chefs
Located in some of the most outstanding scenery that the UK can offer, the restaurant at Kinloch Lodge is proud of its status as the only Michelin-starred restaurant in the locality. It keeps its standards reassuringly high as a result.
The hotel itself offers guests a number of individual rooms to choose from and also plays host to cookery classes, as well as providing a luxurious base from which to explore Skye. It’s this which has led to Kinloch Lodge being named as one of the top 25 small hotels in the world by Conde Nast.
When Living Scotsman asked Kinloch Lodge’s Head Chef, Marcello Tully what his most useful kitchen utensils are, he cheekily replied, ‘My palate and my pots.’ Judging by the mouth-watering food that emerges from Kinloch Lodge’s kitchen, both are in peak condition.
