Les Ross and Matt Dunham of Grant Thornton, administrative receivers and agents of Free Trade Hall Hotel Limited, sold the hotel to the Edwardian Group.
The Edwardian Group already managed the hotel, located on the site of Manchester’s iconic Free Trade Hall, on a long-term management contract under the Radisson Edwardian flag.
Jeremy Hill, Director and Head of Hotels at Christie + Co who were appointed to market the hotel says: “We received a strong response to our-pre-marketing process, but are delighted to have sold the long-leasehold to Edwardian Group.
The Group already has experience of managing this superb 5-star hotel and we anticipate it going from strength to strength under the Group’s expert stewardship.”
