Discerning taste buds are being called upon to put the latest additions to Essential Cuisine’s range of high performance stocks and sauce bases to the test at this year’s Restaurant Show (10th – 12th October, Earls Court 2).

Making their debut at the Show, Signature Red Wine Jus, Signature Chicken Stock Reduction and Signature Hollandaise Sauce will be in the spotlight for visitors to put to the ‘taste test’. But stocks specialist Essential Cuisine is confident that each will leave tasters impressed.

The new trio are the crème de la crème of sauce essentials and join new improved recipe Signature Beef Jus in the 1ltr Tetra Pack range.

Saving chefs valuable time in top end restaurant kitchens, each is made from the finest ingredients and boast the taste, appearance and performance of a rich, finished, kitchen-made equivalent.

Nigel Crane, Dorchester-trained chef and managing director of Essential Cuisine, said: “We understand that in an ideal world, chefs would make their own sauce bases from scratch, but the increasing pressures of spiralling costs, time pressures and a lack of skilled staff often mean this is no longer a given.

“Similarly, outside caterers creating menus for high volume prestigious calendar events such as Wimbledon and Henley Regatta face the additional constraints of small or limited kitchen units.
