Sir Terry Wogan’s daughter Katherine and son in law have opened a third restaurant following on from the success of their Cookham and Windsor venues.
The couple already own two successful operations, The White Oak in Cookham and The Greene Oak in Oakley Green, near Windsor, and have now opened The Three Oaks in Gerrards Cross, which was formerly known as The Three Pigeons.
The opening night party earlier this month was well attended and Sir Terry Wogan and his wife Lady Helen were the guests of honour.
Sir Terry did however point out that he was not involved in the running of the restaurant, but was happy to dine there with Lady Helen to support his daughter’s new venture. He commented…”Of course I am biased, but this is lovely. They’ve done a great job in turning this building into a place with immense character. I dine regularly at their Cookham restaurant which is nearer to my home, but I will certainly be coming here too.”
The Three Oaks will be a country pub and restaurant, offering locals and visitors quality British food within a relaxed and informal atmosphere.
