This year has been an interesting year with last years league winners, Lancaster London not finding the same form. The Guoman Tower who faced the Bees in the tournament final last year have been unbeaten to the end but not without a few tense moments!
The title went down to the last match of season with Jumeirah Carlton Tower needing a win to steal the trophy. At half time the teams were locked 2-2 and with everything to play for the pressure reached near boiling point!
Eventually the Guoman Tower clinched the winner and proudly raised the trophy! We heard the next day that a very proud manager, Dave Abercrombie and the squad had partied until the early hours!!
This obviously puts them in the HACCC Festival as favourites but I pretty sure that any one of the other 47 hotels taking part on the 18th September are eager to spoil the party…….
