Travelodge announced it has managed to secure detailed planning permission for a 111-bed hotel in the heart of Twickenham, on London Road.
The new hotel will involve a £7.5m investment and create more than 30 new jobs in the Twickenham area.
The hotel development will commence construction this summer and is expected to be completed as soon as Autumn 2011.
Travelodge plans to become the single biggest hotel brand in London by the 2012 Olympics, providing 3,500 hotel rooms.
