The Box Tree won its first Michelin Star in early 2005 just months after Simon and Rena Gueller took over the restaurant in September 2004.
Since then, they have worked hard to maintain the restaurant’s excellence in high quality food and service.
It’s been a busy time at The Box Tree with their recent announcement on plans to work with old pal Marco Pierre White. Says Simon Gueller: ‘We are absolutely delighted and I know Marco is thrilled on our behalf. It was a wonderful surprise to win this prestigious award in 2005 and it’s still as exciting every year. We’re proud of every member of our team here and look forward to the year ahead.’
