Thirty years since the Fab Four split, Beatlesmania remains as strong as ever as Liverpool’s Hard Days Night Hotel launches its first ever sale.
Beatles fans from the four corners of the world competed to get their hands on rooms at the four-star, Beatles inspired hotel for a staggering £19.64.
The exclusive offer, available on 500 luxury rooms, sold out in just over three hours with fans jamming the phone lines and inundating the hotel’s Facebook and Twitter accounts with messages.
General Manager Mike Dewey said: “We were completely overwhelmed by the response from fans all over the world wanting to stay at our hotel and had over 50, 000 calls requesting rooms.
We’d like to thank everyone who took part, and reassure fans that missed out that we will be running similar promotion in the near future so watch this space.”
Rooms at the four-star boutique hotel usually retail at between £200 for a luxury double, and £750 for the exclusive Lennon and McCartney penthouse suites.
