The 2010 British Travel Awards took place last night, celebrating a line up of winning travel companies as voted for by the British public.
Over 220,000 votes were cast this year making the British Travel Awards the largest independent awards scheme in the UK.
Premier Inn was amongst the biggest winners of the night as the UK`s largest budget hotel chain swept the board by winning three prestigious awards. Premier Inn won the much coveted `Hotel Chain of the Year` award beating Warner Leisure Hotels and Holiday Inn.
Premier Inn also went onto win `Best Business Hotel`, beating Hilton and Marriott and `Best Leisure Hotel` beating Holiday Inn and Marriott.
