The internationally recognised School of Hospitality and Culinary Arts at Westminster Kingsway College is launching a new intensive International Culinary Diploma course for people from the UK and all over the world who want to learn at one of the premier UK Culinary Arts establishments in central London.
The practical aim of this fast-track course is to present students with a comprehensive understanding of Culinary Arts and the classical skills required to work in the top professional kitchens of the world. This unique course will enable those who are interested in a high profile career in Culinary Arts to develop their vocational path within the International Hospitality industry.

This intensive training course is delivered by award-wining chefs that have been at the cutting edge of the hospitality industry and are exemplary leaders in Culinary Arts.” Students will work towards the College Culinary Arts Certificate and Professional Cookery qualifications including a City and Guilds Diploma Level 2 in Professional Cookery and they will benefit from:

Those undertaking the course will develop their knowledge of essential commodities and will graduate with skills in the preparation, cooking and finishing methods of Culinary Arts. They will also learn the leadership skills and have an understanding of the Hospitality Industry that will assist in their professional future.
All applicants will be assessed via an interview for the intensive Professional Chefs course but the application process will take into consideration their education achievements and any work experience.
The programme is also open to applicants from overseas and the course fee is £10,000 inclusive of all College tuition. The intensive course runs for 24 weeks and the first course begins in November 2010. Students can progress onto higher level study in Culinary Arts or Hospitality Management or into employment in the hospitality industry in the UK and overseas.
