I am delighted to present our HotStats 2010 publication containing results of the UK hotel industry’s profit and loss performance with separate comment and analysis on London, England, Scotland and Wales.
Having compiled annual hotel performance data since 1978 we have for a considerable time been providing profit and loss data across the UK and Europe on a monthly basis and most recently across the UK branded budget hotel sector on a daily basis.
Given the frequency and currency of our available performance data we have reduced the scope of our annual publication, which presents data relating to year end performance during 2009. In a further change, in the interests of sustainability we have now moved to an exclusive pdf format.
Our forecasts for London and Provincial hotel performance in 2010 and 2011 remain a feature of this publication as well as ten-year historic average annual occupancy and average room rate trends.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank our clients, referrers, industry contacts and friends for their continued and valued support and we look forward to pursuing further projects and assignments together in the remainder of 2010 and beyond.
