Whittlebury Hall and Scalford Hall Hotels are pleased to announce the arrival of three new Head Chefs.

The new appointments have been made by Executive Head Chef for Macepark Hotels, Craig Rose who says, “We are a small, independent group but with very large Chef credentials and I am extremely proud and excited to have these three talents on board.”

Ben Aird, the new Head Chef of Whittlebury Hall Management Training Centre, Hotel and Spa, comes from Ettington Chase, part of the Principal Hayley Group of Hotels, where he has worked since 2008. He specialises in providing busy restaurants with creatively produced quality food.

Christian Morris is the new Head Chef of Murrays at Whittlebury Hall fine dining restaurant.  Murrays currently has 2 AA Rosettes for fine dining and Christian is already gearing up for 3!  Christian has spent many years recently as Head Chef aboard a 44m Private Yacht, serving Royalty, Celebrities, singers, sportsmen and teams!

And Andrew Blunt joins the team at Scalford Hall Hotel, to become Head Chef.  He takes with him years of experience at Whittlebury Hall Hotel, where he worked most recently as Senior Sous Chef.  He has big aspirations for Scalford Hall where he is hoping to achieve 1 AA Rosette for fine dining in his first year.

Mark Jones, Hotels General Manager says, “they say things always happen in threes’ well that is certainly true here, we believe we have got 3 excellent Head Chefs and are thrilled to be able make this announcement.”

Both Hotels are part of the Macepark Group. Whittlebury Hall Hotel is set in rural Northamptonshire and has 211 spacious bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms.  There is a mixture of comfortable standard rooms, spacious club rooms and indulgent suites with whirlpool spa and double shower.  The Hotel has 3 restaurants, Astons, Bentleys and the award-winning fine dining restaurant Murrays at Whittlebury Hall, which holds 2AA Rosette awards, offering the perfect setting to enjoy creative dishes with classical and international influences, set  in an intimate and relaxed surrounding.

With elegant surroundings and outstanding facilities Whittlebury Hall provides the perfect setting for all corporate events, entertainment and private dining requirements.  With 14 principal management training suites, 32 fully serviced syndicate rooms, 6 spacious meeting rooms and an executive boardroom. Whittlebury Hall’s impressive Brooklands and Grand Prix suites provide the perfect venue for all events, accommodating up to 500 delegates.  Both have ground floor access, with a staging and projection area for entertainment or screening for presentations.  An ideal location for product and car launch exhibitions and conferences.

Scalford Hall Management Training Centre and Hotel is set amongst twelve acres of carefully landscaped gardens, at the heart of Leicestershire’s countryside and the market town of Melton Mowbray, and capturing the true essence of an Edwardian Country House.  Scalford Hall has 88 bedrooms all with en-suite bathrooms, finished to provide a comfortable escape with a host of modern comforts, home cooking and traditional touches.
