A new association has just been launched with the aim of improving the reputation and environmental performance of British restaurants. The Sustainable Restaurant Association (SRA)  addresses such issues as the sourcing of food and ingredients, the staggering tonnage of food waste (3 million tonnes every year in England and Wales), the 391million cubic metres of water used annually…and it also addresses both energy efficiency and water saving. Which is where expert help from the building services sector will be needed…
